Bridge 2 Bridge Run



Event Description: 
A unique round trip run beginning at our historical lift bridge, weaving through town, to the longest covered bridge in the United States (2nds largest in the world).
11 mile runners receive a long sleeve T-shirt and 5K runners/walkers receive a cinch sack

Comments: Run thru the streets of Ashtabula, lots of hills. Enjoyed the run and will do it again next year!

Pros: nice course, well organized, nice location. good post race refreshments
Cons: traffic control at finish was bad, cars going both ways on the bridge was scary as well as dangerous. also, on the 5k course you need to instruct runners what side of the road to stay on and set up cones so that traffic on the course slows down and is aware that there is a race going on.
Comments: nice race, great for first time event. get the bugs worked out with traffic logistics (especially at finish) and this will be an awesome race.
